Please pray for Jacob that he finds the right path, for his parents that they find the strenght and wisdom to guide him and for all cancer patients that they deal with their disease with grace and dignity. Thank you.

Dear Saintly brothers, pray for us, in our daily quest to be more Christ-like. Amen

Both brothers were named 'Ewald'? That seems strange. Is there any more history on these two? I would to learn more about them.

St. Ewald and Ewald, soon again after the feast of St. Therese of Lisieux, we have the privilege of celebrating these two siblings who have witnessed to Christ, to the point of martyrdom. Beloved saintly brothers pray for all families where strife is more common than brotherhood. Even though love and cooperation seems almost impossible, help to ease the pain of terrible differences, deceit and manipulation. Give us patience, respect and tolerance. Amen.

Too brief! I would have liked a longer submission on the brothers. What were the circumstances surrounding their martyrdom? What had they done prior to being martyred?

Why were they killed and how were they killed?
