LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) - A video release don Saturday by the Nigerian terrorist group, "Boko Haram" shows the Islamic terrorists killing men in the hallway of what appears to be a dormitory. The video has been released as the organization, whose name means "western teaching is forbidden" steps up their offensive against Christian civilians in Nigeria.

The video appears to show gunmen making their way down a bloody hallway filled with bodies, firing bullets into the bodies of anyone who could still be alive. "We have made sure the hall is turned red with blood" a message from the group's leader, Abubakar Shekau says. "This is how it is going to be in all future attacks and arrests of infidels."

Protect Christians from persecution. Act now!

"From now, killing, slaughtering, destructions and bombing will be our religious duty anywhere we invade," Abubakar explained.

The video appears to show a school dormitory complete with bunk beds for students. The school is likely in the town of Bama, and Bama has often been the target of Boko Haram raids and attacks.

The militants have stepped up attacks across Nigeria, rounding up scores of civilians and killing most of them, kidnapping others. Schoolgirls have also been targeted and sold into Islamic marriages or as sex slaves.

Although Boko Haram had previously promised to respect people who were willing to live in peace, and the Qur'an instructs Muslims to be merciful to prisoners, Abubakar explained that taking prisoners would no longer be part of their operations. "We felt this is not the right time for us to keep prisoners; that is why we will continue to see that the grounds are crimsoned with the flowing blood of prisoners," he explained.

Critics have pointed out that some of their victims of indiscriminate violence have also been Muslims, but Abubakar said he thinks these people are all infidels and not true Muslims.

Many people continue to argue that Islam is a peaceful religion, but those Muslims, who are regarded as "moderate" by outsiders, are also tagged as "infidels" and apostates by conservative Muslims around the world.
