   JoAnn: What can I say, other than to "keep those posts coming"! They are Great! Each one says something different. I absolutely loved all three posts! And you are right about Martin Luther King! That really gave me goose bumps! And yes, since this country has grown so great in Education, and half the people in the U.S. that have graduated can only read to the eighth grade level (heard on TV) people should be tested before they vote. Especially, when 1/4 of teens drop out of HS. Yes good people. Things ARE NOT THE SAME. That was almost unheard of in my time. Education is NOT the same! You have no idea what has been written to further this Extreme Liberal Socialist agenda. That aside, I see no reason, based on Equality, since we all can go to school free, (why doesn't Obama enforce that? How many countries are ahead of us now? I've lost count!) why one should not be held accountable to some kind of test before voting. Putting an X where it says Obama, who gives something for nothing, as easily as he does printing Stimulus monopoly $ money for him and his cronies to spend is Not enough. Sorry, but an 8th grader can do that. And if a person chooses not to graduate VOTING PRIVILEGES SHOULD BE WITHHELD. Remember Catholic teaching my dear brothers and sisters. Be Responsible.    Theresa H.: Great Post! Fantastic! Glad Deacon Keith let you share it. Yes, it is a historical fact that Rome was at it's peak at 200 yrs. and then fell into decline. Hum...I wonder if morals, or social justice, etc. had anything to do w/it? In fact, with everyone's permission, I'd like to send a few copies myself. As JoAnn said, "People need to wake up. They need to be informed. Why should a person vote who is Not informed? What does that do to our system? Theresa, it is really downright scary, when one thinks of Obama winning low income and government welfare voters! My husband and I are on Social Security and we did not vote for him last election. We are not wealthy. We saw and heard this man for what he was and is. We knew he was pro-choice. That is an automatic thumbs down! This article is Illuminating for two very important reasons: 1. It gives us the Wisdom of History...and those that were intelligent enough to See through its many pages. In 1887 Alexander Tyler certainly was not speaking about the U.S.but in fact the Athenian Republic 2,000 years ago. Yet today, WE SEE OURSELVES. I wonder why that is? 2. The stats on Obama and McCain. The same conclusion of number 1, the Wisdom of History,unless we change our thinking. Unless we become informed. Again, thanks for sharing. Blessings...

   Vance: Romney is a progressive "light." I hope he doesn't lose his soul if he gets to Washington. Another election that I will have to pick between the lesser of two evils. People will never learn. And we wonder why we can't clean up Washington. Who knows, maybe Romney will surprise us. IF he gets elected. We can only pray that God will stay His hand and give us another chance. Thanks for your support. You and Judy and a few others on this board really know what we are up against. Some are in denial and some are in support of the "change." I hope some of the others will wake up before it's too late. "Rules for Radicals" is this administration's bible. They have memorized it word for word. Obama even taught it while he was a "community organizer." Too bad they know nothing about the true Bible. No way is Obama a christian. He is his father's son and is trying to complete his father's dreams and could very possibly be the undoing of this Nation. Obama is such a disappointment. He sure missed his chance. He could have been the president that united this country and go down in history as one of the greats. Instead, he chose to divide and conquer. What a waste. God bless.

   Rob: The "Conservatives" weren't in favor of it, the Rinos and Socialists were. PROGRESSIVES remember? It is the Shadow Party that has gotten us into this mess. If people do not educate themselves about the people/party that they support, we will continue to send these destroyers of American freedoms to Washington. Santorum was the only conservative candicate of the 4. Now we are going to have to send another progressive to Washington in Romney because he is the lesser of the two evils. Like I said, we reap what we sow. Sometimes I wish people would have to take a test before they are allowed to vote. Color or religion should not be a factor. Character should be the factor. "Judge a man by his character, not by the color of his skin." Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr. This administration has totally twisted what that great man was hoping to accomplish and I'm sure his heart is breaking for America right now. King gave the ultimate sacrifice for civil rights and this administration has set it back 60 yrs. I bet most black people don't even know what president tried to get civil rights for them in the first place. And which president filibustered it. Does anyone on this board know? God bless.

   I've read more than once and someone recently sent me an e-mail that says no nation has survived more than 200 years. It is evident, I believe, that we have past "our time" as a nation. There is so much corruption in government and the parties are so divided--and corrupt; we cannot come together on the most fundamental principles of our Founding--even though they are ageless! And as for morals--Moral Relativism and Hedonism have taken hold of the citizenry, and the Natural Law "norm" (not to mention the Ten Commandments) for both civil and family life (a mom and dad--with children regarded as a blessing) is in shambles.

   JoAnn, great post. You hit the nail on the head about George Soros. Yes, I believe he actually called himself Mr. Lucifer. If not, he is living up to the name. Saul Alinsky dedicated his "Rules For Radicals" to Lucifer. You are right that our nation is on our last lap. We have one last chance this November. I believe the days of the RINO are over because the electorate will not stand for another Bush or McCain who would simply "Care Take" what the Marxists imposed on us until they are back in power. We want someone who will overturn all of what Obama, Reid, and Pelosi has done and the EPA and many other departments. GSA is another department that needs to go. Keep up the good posts. God Bless.

   JoAnn, then you have to ask yourself why on earth were the conservatives supporting the Citizen's United case? Money is power and in their own quest for it they forever changed our politics. Now guys like Soros, the Koch brothers and just about every billionaire and millionaire who wants to buy a politicians can. You can't have it both ways. You can't complain that Soros is impacting elections when he uses the very doors our so called conservatives opened for him. You can't complain that he's able to use our financial system against us when again, the conservatives degregulate and block all efforts at reiging this activity in. Follow the money. Between the spineless democrats that are using these terrible laws to only seek power and greedy conservatives that basically sold our political process and financial system to the highest bidder, we are pretty screwed. Between guys like Soros and our own big banks, just a matter of time because we are too stupid to reign these people in. Guess we didn't learn from the first round. We've bought the lie, stay divided and they effectively maintain control. Pretty genius on their part when you think about it. And the sad thing is that all the issues we care about from abortion to pick your topic of freedom, will still be in play no matter who is elected. They need these issues to maintain control. If they didn't, they would be gone. But perhaps we just have the most inept politicans this country has ever seen. That is pretty plausible too. As a country, we will continue to vote people in office who shouldn't be there, continue to vote against our own self interest and as we push ourselves off the cliff we'll be convinced that we are just following the constitution or it's the thing to do for freedom. Maybe someday we'll wake up and realize that the same guys that convinced us to buy all this cheap chinese crap and sell our manufacturers down the river are the same guys dividing us up, making us fight about things they intend to do nothing about. How can they do it? Because we never hold them accountable. Someone is always getting a pass no matter how bad it is.

    Here's a reality check for everyone. We are fighting evil itself. In Obama and his comrades, and minions all over the world, George Soros has just about achieved his dream. If you are not familiar with Mr. Soros, he is known as Mr. LUCIFER, public enemy #1. He is of Jewish descent and is a self-professed atheist and communist. He helped displace the Jews during the war. His dream is to rule the world. He has always had messianic fantasies since childhood, and if we think for one moment he is going to allow Obama to lose the election, we are as naive as a new born child. Soros has come too far to lose now and he will pull out all the tricks he has in his BIG, black. evil bag to get what he wants. I'm talking MONEY voter fraud, riots, OWS's ( which he and Mr. Farrakhan are financing) every evil thing he can think of. Just watch this coming May. That's why we cannot sit this one out. Soros has been called an "economic terrorist." He has collapsed economic systems in 4 countries and has been and IS working on America through this present administration and earlier administrations. (Clinton's for one.) He is known as the "Man that broke the bank of England. If you don't know who this man is, research him. Soros has been Hillary Clinton's mentor and his money helped get her elected senator of NY. He was well on his way of financing Hillary's run for president but changed his mind and decided on Obama. He owns the MSM, the Democratic Party and some Rino's in the Republican party. It is called "The Shadow Party" or the "Progressives." The only reason Hillary did not end up as VP is because Michelle Obama asked Obama if he really wanted the Clinton's down the hall from them. My friends, you can't imagine how far-reaching the fingers of Soros' influence is, in this country and around the world. It's diabolical!! Maybe, some of you do. Whether we all realize it or not, we have 3 political parties. The blue-dog Democrats, (which are practically non-existent), the Conservative Republicans (which are just about gone also, although we put more of them in office in November) and the Progressives (the Shadow Party). Sooo, if we continue to elect Progressives in either party, we will never see the change that we all are praying for. If you want more information or suggestions on reading material, just ask and I will point you in the right direction. Satan is in Washington (and I don't mean Obama) I mean in general. Actually, he is alive and well throughout the world and he is working very hard because he knows his time is short. We are fighting true evil and we need to pray to God for His mercy and His help to defeat it. Now, it may be, that God has finally lost His patience with us and has pulled His blessings from this Nation. After all, we threw Him out of our country and our lives. He just might be sitting back and telling us that if we think we can make it without Him, to have at it. Remember the Israelites in Egypt? They waited 400 yrs. for their deliverance. We must get back to God or we all will be looking at our judgement days sooner than we think. If you don't know it by now, we have been in WWIII since 9/11. Be alert, prepare and pray because something EVIL this way comes, and is actually knocking at our doors. God bless.
